Synopsis
Lu Xiao Fan’s life takes an unexpected turn when he leaves his rural roots to marry into a prominent, wealthy Beijing family. Expecting a life of luxury and prestige, he soon discovers his marriage is a sham. His fortunes shift, however, when he crosses paths with his new brother-in-law: the sophisticated Bei Lu Qing. Drawn into Lu Qing’s world, Xiao Fan desperately tries to find his place in the man’s life. He aspires to be a trusted confidant or a loyal friend, but destiny has other plans. Through a series of awkward trials and mounting pressures, Xiao Fan finds himself forced into the singular, unconventional position of Lu Qing’s lover. Has Xiao Fan gone too far in his desire to be close to Lu Qing?
