Synopsis
On the banks of the Tong River in Haizhou City, new clues to the “8/17 Case” from five years ago surface. Zhou Jin, an investigator from the Nancheng Public Security Sub-Bureau, whose elder brother Zhou Chuan is one of the two SWAT police officers who died in the case, volunteers to participate in the investigation. With the help of Professor Jiang Han Sheng, an expert in criminal psychology, the police identify acriminal group led by the mysterious Old Scorpion. Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng, an undercover police officer who has been carrying out the Hidden Edge Operation for five years, has infiltrated the core of the enemy and is only one step away from Old Scorpion. The three Zhou Jin, Jiang Han Sheng, and Jiang Cheng, who grew up together in Zhizi Alley, do their best in their respective positions, outwitting the lawbreakers and defeating evil with justice, courage, and wisdom.
